Woven by Mitsubishi in Japan, this double-faced satin runs triacetate through the warp and polyester through the weft, so both faces carry a silk-like sheen and a hand close to heavyweight silk while staying light and fluid. A faint moiré moves across the surface, and the high-twist double weave gives the cloth a firm, resilient drape with a touch of stretch.
The skirt is cut in a clean H-line that sits easily on the body. A satin-covered elastic waistband keeps the waist unbroken and comfortable, and the hem finishes in eyelash lace with crisp, clearly defined fringe that reveals the leg only in glimpses.
