This vessel feels like it wasn't shaped by human hands, but by creatures of the soil. Its top half is honeycombed, full of small holes like a hive or a husk. The surface feels instinctual, like it was built slowly from earth and time. The form is sealed, but not silent. It suggests movement, quiet life, something inside. Not literal, just imagined. It's the kind of piece you might find half-buried in a field, unsure if it's been left behind… or still in use.

I formed this piece by joining two paper pulp bowls into one round body. The bottom is textured and raw, pigmented with earth tones. The top is patterned by hand — an uneven honeycomb skin with scattered openings. One central hole allows you to place dried grasses or a few upright stems. The smaller holes open possibilities for loose compositions or they can stay as they are, closed and quiet.

The handles felt incomplete until I added the tassels. Jute rope, tied with metal beads, hangs on each side like an old ritual gesture — part ornament, part mystery. It's not here to be understood. It's here to be felt.

This piece lives best in wabi-sabi interiors, rustic corners, or homes that welcome quiet texture and mystery. It brings a subtle presence, like something ancient, half-remembered, or recently unearthed. A form that carries silence, curiosity, and the feeling that something might still live inside.
